One of the most popular reasons to rent an RV on RVshare attends a NASCAR race. If you’re lucky enough to get tickets to park your truck in the infield of a track like Texas Motor Speedway, Talladega or Daytona, you have what can only be described as front row seats.
But not every motorhome is a good HQ for you and your friends. Forget things like ground clearance, solar-powered electrical systems, and big water tanks (you won’t drink much water). Instead, you want an RV with a full-size fridge, outdoor kitchen, big-screen TVs, and a huge black tank. The most important feature, however, is a bridge, preferably installed on top of the platform. Throw lawn chairs and a beer cooler up there, and you’ll have an uninterrupted 360-degree view of the action.
Below is our list of five amazing RVs to rent on RVshare to watch a NASCAR race. You can rent any of these motorhomes now or search for similar models available where you live.
- Rent: $225 per night
- Sleeps: 8

Let’s start our list with this long C-Class RV. The owner has upgraded his Thor Chateau with everything a NASCAR fan would want. This includes a huge 52” flat screen TV inside the unit, as well as a 42” outside. There’s even a third TV in the bedroom, where the owner has also installed a multi-color lighting system (it’s for after the race). The refrigerator is large and there is room for at least eight people inside.
But you’ll want to be outside when the racing begins. With this rig’s custom sky deck, you and your friends can soar above the fray for an unobstructed view. The platform measures 8 x 8 feet and looks like four or five people would sit comfortably on it with their chairs.
This 2017 Thor Chateau rents for a reasonable $225 per night, and if that makes a difference, it’s powered by a V10 engine. Click here to rent this RV or another like that.

The Thor Outlaw is an incredible motorhome in its own right. Originally designed as a Class A self-contained toy hauler, the owner of this model ordered the floor plan with a rear bedroom in place of the garage. Most importantly, however, what once served as a ramp to the garage has been remodeled into a party deck complete with fridge, sink and TV!
This outlaw is a great option for families who are NASCAR fans because mom and dad have a big, comfy bedroom (with a lockable door) and the kids can sleep on the flip-up dinette, jack-knife sofa, or the folding bed. above the cabin. There are also two bathrooms in the Outlaw, one of which is a half bath accessible from the party deck outside.
And yes, while the party deck isn’t high up like the other options on this list, it’s more accessible and has more conveniences within easy reach. And if you can’t see the race, there are no less than four TVs on which you can catch the coverage.

This RV is a curved option for a NASCAR race. It’s unlike any other motorhome on our list. It’s small, there’s only one TV and no full bathroom! But there is a great roof terrace from which you will have a great view of every left turn.
This custom Ram Promaster motorhome is a great choice for a young couple who just want a place to sleep and a view of the race from the infield. It doesn’t offer much other than great maneuverability and the lowest rental price on this list. There’s an electric cooler to keep your drinks cold, as well as a two-burner stove for simmering chili.
When we said there was no bathroom, that was an exaggeration; there is a hidden cassette toilet in the van, but its capacity is tiny, so it’s better to use the public toilet whenever possible. There’s also an outdoor shower fitted inside the rear doors, but you’ll be in plain sight of your neighbors, especially those hanging out on their own air decks.
This custom 2019 Ram Promaster motorhome rents for just $149 per night. Click here to rent this RV or another like that.

This motorhome may be older than the others, but it has been completely renovated and renamed “The Beach House”. Although he has spent most of his new life near sand and water, he is also well suited to the infield of a NASCAR track.
Of course, the rooftop terrace is the star of the show. Eight people can sit in it and this unit comes with its own set of folding chairs and a table. The guardrails also look very sturdy, so don’t worry about letting the kids climb up there.
The owners also include other items that would be fun in the backyard, such as a propane grill, cornhole, and large umbrella.
“The Beach House” rents for $220 per night. Click here to rent it or find another motorhome like this.

That’s it. This is the Ultimate NASCAR RV, designed specifically to be king of the Infield and make all other RV owners blush.
We don’t know much about where this RV came from, but the description says it’s one of 27 in existence and is the only one of its kind on RV sharing. It is also located in Charlotte, North Carolina, the heart of NASCAR country.
What is amazing about this RV is that its roof terrace is integrated directly into the structure. It includes comfortable built-in benches with padding, backrests and pillows, as well as support for two umbrellas and space for coolers. You don’t even have to climb a ladder to reach the roof; there is an internal staircase that will take you to the top!
The other unique feature of this motorhome is that it is a dormitory and has two sets of bunk beds. Children will be comfortable tucked away in their own separate sleeping pods. The owners have also added a 4K flat screen TV and include two coolers, a large outdoor mat, a bench, four folding chairs and a propane grill.
Unsurprisingly, the Ultimate NASCAR RV is the most expensive rig on our list at $795 per night. We think it’s worth it, if you can afford it. Click here to rent it and no, you won’t find another one like this on RVshare.
